Patricia A. Meyer

Patricia was born in New York City on April 11, 1958. After being educated at Catholic schools in the New York area, Patricia attended college at Villanova University, just outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was lured to California to attend law school where she excelled in academics and on Law Review. Patricia's second year law review article was published and she received the scriba regis award, which included membership in a national legal honor society for excellence in publication. Patricia also served on the Executive Editorial Law Review Board in her third year of law school as the Head Notes and Comments Editor. In 1983, Patricia was awarded the Diane Ethics award, given to the graduate exhibiting the highest degree of integrity and ethics.

Upon successful completion of the Bar Exam, in December 1983 Patricia was admitted to the Bar of the State of California and numerous Federal District Courts. In the early 1990's Patricia was also admitted to the New Mexico State Bar; District of Columbia Bar; and the New York State Bar.

In addition to managing her law firm, Patricia is active in the lives of her children and their schools and extra curricular activities. She has also been an Adjunct Professor of Legal Research and Writing, California Western School of Law, 1986-1987. Patricia is a proud member of the San Diego County Bar Association; State Bar of California; New York State Bar Association. Patricia served proudly on the 1990 San Diego Redistricting Advisory Board and was on of five recipients in 2002's of the Trial Lawyers for Public Justice trial lawyer of the year award.

Trevor M. Flynn

Trevor was born and raised in Mission Viejo, CA. Deciding not to be a fourth generation plumber, he obtained a B.A. in Political Science from the Earl Warren College of UC San Diego in 2004. During his time at UCSD, Trevor was a competing member of the UCSD Mock Trial team and served as the club president from 2002-2003. Trevor went on to receive his Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2007.

During law school, he spent two summers working as a clerk for The Center for Children and Family Law in Orange, CA. Trevor was also a competing member of the USD National Mock Trial Team, garnering round wins in both San Diego and Salt Lake City, Utah where his team finished as semi-finalists. After graduating USD, Trevor became licensed to practice before all court of the state of California. He joined the firm as an associate attorney in April 2008.

Trevor is an avid San Diego Chargers fan and spends 6 months out of the year waiting for football season to start.

Jason A. James

Jason was born and raised in San Diego, California. He attended the University of San Diego where he majored in Business Administration with an emphasis in finance, earning his Bachelors of Business Administration in May 2005. Jason worked his way through college as a licensed insurance broker for a mid-sized insurance brokerage. After graduating from USD, he was hired by Northrop Grumman Corporation as a financial analyst, a position he held until beginning law school in September 2006.

Jason joined our firm as a law clerk after completing his first year of law school in May 2007. He is admitted to practice within the State of California and in front of the United States District Court for the Southern District of California.

In his spare time, Jason sings barbershop harmony with several different groups. In 2004, his quartet placed 2nd at the MBNA international collegiate barbershop competition. In 2007, Jason earned a gold medal in the international barbershop chorus competition as a member of the Westminster Chorus, a group with an average age of 23. Currently, Jason is the assistant director of Pacific Coast Harmony, a barbershop chorus located in La Jolla, California.

Vickie M. Tibbs

Born Hawthorne, California, April 2, 1960. Education: United States International University (B.S. Financial Management, Cum Laude, 1982). Legal Administrator: Patricia A. Meyer & Associates, APC, formerly Aguirre & Meyer, APC, since June 1988; Office Manager, Aguirre & Meyer, APC, August 1985 to June 1987; Administrative Assistant, Mitchell, Keeney, Barry & Pike, from November 1982 to July 1985.
